Lakota YMCA WiFi

Member WiFi Network

The Lakota YMCA has added a secure member WiFi network as a convenience to its members.

Simply go to your WiFi settings on your mobile device and look for the following WiFi network:

Member@LakotaY

The WiFi network is WEP2 password protected. Placards are placed around the YMCA with the password for this network. QR codes are also provided to automate the connection process on these placards on supported devices.

Once connected, any time you arrive at the YMCA, you will automatically be connected to the Internet through the YMCA member WiFi.

Connection to this network is required for the Fitness Center TV streaming audio app.

Guest WiFi Network

For Non-Members, the YMCA still provided a less secure wireless network. Guests can connect to the following WiFi Network:

Guest@LakotaY

This WiFi service is for guest to the Lakota YMCA who have limited access to the facility.

The Guest WiFi service is un-encrypted and is only protected by a captive portal agreement page.

The two WiFi network names named above are the only supported WiFi networks for members. Other WiFi names may be visible and are not provided by the YMCA. Lakota YMCA cannot guarantee Internet connectivity on any other visible WiFi network.
